The purpose of the Mukilteo Education Association is to advance the interests of the profession, to bargain collectively, and to promote the cause of education in the Mukilteo School District, the State of Washington, and nationally.

The goals of the Mukilteo Education Association are:

1.  To be an independent, self-governing, unified organization for members of the education profession with which all non supervisory certificated  and extra-curricular classified staff can identify.

2.  To guarantee professional and economic rights and interests of members of the bargaining unit.

3.  To be an effective, positive influence on public affairs and public opinions.

The Mukilteo Education Association shall represent all members of the bargaining unit fairly and shall not discriminate in representation on the basis of membership or non-membership in the Association, race, creed, ethnic or national origin, marital status, sex or age.
